Traveling Through Senegal With a Camera,
Sunscreen, and Way Too Little Storage Space
I was on the road again — this time with my camera in beautiful Senegal.
And honestly? My storage space suffered, but my heart came back pretty full.
Senegal is truly one of those places that captures you instantly: breathtaking nature, incredible colors, and amazing biodiversity.
Between wild landscapes, dreamy beaches, and golden sunsets, there was basically a new reason every five minutes to pull out my camera again.
Of course, I ended up taking about 847 photos of things I originally wanted to capture “just really quickly.”
Spoiler: it was never just one photo.
What impressed me most, though, were the people, the art, and the culture. Music everywhere, life everywhere, creative energy everywhere. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, look around, and appreciate every little detail.
And then there was the food.
Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I ate this well. If anyone wants to know how many times I said, “I’ll just try a little bit,” and then ended up sitting there completely happy and very full afterward — the answer is: a lot.
The best part of the trip was being able to capture so many beautiful moments with my camera.
And because good memories should be shared, you can download the photos for free and use them in your own creative projects — whether it’s for design work, websites, moodboards, or simply escaping office life for a few minutes.

Hopefully the images bring a little sunshine, music, and Senegal feeling to your screen.
And who knows — maybe one day your camera will end up there too. I’d definitely recommend bringing extra storage space
